I know this might be a dumb question, but is the 08 Daytona Hemi Orange the same color as the 06 "Go Mango" Srt8?

I am looking to either buy an 07 or 08 (R/T wR&T, Daytona, srt8)

Thanks

Ashton
Based on what I've read thus far, Hemi Orange is the color of General Lee.. the Charger in Dukes of Hazard... NO correlation to the 06 GoMango color.

Speculation is Petty Blue (Robin's egg blue) and Panther Pink isn't it?

I've heard Petty Blue, Hemi Orange, or Pink Panter. I know these colors have a "history" with Chargers, but I personally would like to see more dark colors... black cherry or dark green or something.

Over on the general discussion forum, they're talking about the official 08 superbee colors.. you MIGHT find some more information there..

go to the dodge website, the hemi orange daytona is available at present
go to build your own section..... from what i understand petty blue (if they use the petty name) is the other daytona color, i could be wrong as the '08 super bee is blue as well....

Dodge has changed the shades of the original High Impact colors from the 70's. Back in 1970 Hemi Orange was a Dodge name and TorRed was a Plymouth name for the SAME color. All colors are off from their origins. BTW, the companion color to the Dodge GoMango was the Plymouth Vitamin C. :)

I need to see the new Daytona Hemi Orange in person, that would make a difference to me, but at the moment I am leaning towards the Steel blue R/T or SRT8.

Hmmm, after building one, looks like they have taken the Road and Track option off the selection for R/T, DANGIT!!!

Its there. When you select your model Charger and you select R/T it brings up two packages near the bottom left under the car list. Select R/T package R. Thats the Road and Track package. :)

WOW, the hemi orange is one ugly color. That DEFF looks taxi cab. Especially if its a flat acrylic orange like it looks
It's funny you say that, almost all the taxis around here are now sublime green...

It's why I didn't get a Sublime charger. :(
