Overheated - typical dropped valve seats design flaw.
Looking at California rebuild options (on a budget):
Stock rebuild (cylinders bored .020 over for minor cylinder scoring), new/reman heads
Performance rebuild options (cam, heads, intake?)
Something else I haven't thought of?
I'm getting ready to take apart a 2016 5.7 to do a cam job on it (heads have to come off) and I was wondering if anyone recommends any books for torque specs and what not. I am open to both physical and digital books.

Alright, a little while ago I blew my engine(spun some rod bearings) racing another charger, because my step father told me to put Lucas in the oil. Big mistake. So anyway the time has come to take the engine out, rebuild it, and throw it back in. I'll try to post pics along the way.
