Got my stock springs put back on my '17 RT and now I'm getting an occasional rattling in the rear end, specifically when I first start the car and other random points such as coming to a stop and going into reverse, and on some bumpier parts of roads. It seems to be a vibration thing, like something is loose and being rattled by the vibration of the exhaust. Planning on calling the shop tomorrow but just wanted to see if anyone has an idea of what it could be.

I have absolutely no idea if this is related but I found a screw and washer sitting inside the exhaust opening of the bumper as pictured below. Really odd because it could've only gone in through the front. It was not the source of the rattling, though.

Here's a video to make it clearer what I'm talking about: https://streamable.com/jn5e6

I'm just sitting in reverse and I can't hear it, I just barely disengage the brake and then you can clearly hear the rattling.

Check all around the exhaust and see if it's making contact somewhere. Could also be a heat shield that is loose/bent/rattling. These cars have tons of heat shields. I'd also check the condition of the rubber grommets that the exhaust hangs on to see if they're stretched and worn out.

That is the unmistakable sound of your exhaust pipes rattling on the cross braces or the tip rattling in the surround in the bumper..annoying as hell (I've had it happen on both my Chargers).

You'll have to raise the car up and get under there and readjust/tighten the exhaust. Lots of folks pull the cross braces off and put a couple washers under there to give a little more clearance.

That bolt in your picture goes in one of the resonator hangers, so you probably have the resonator tip rubbing in the chrome outlet in the bumper

Interesting. The timing is just really suspect to me considering I just had the springs changed out. I assumed it was something they didn't tighten down enough.
