My SE blacktop was 25 K. If I had a Hellcat and got that recall, p*****off is an understatement

i would be happy to know they they know of an issue and are going to fix it, but would be upset that I couldn't drive it for fear of that happening.

Seems strange to me the recall doesn't actually start until Sept. 22nd?

Have ALL the Hellcat owners been notified already that there's a chance their car might blow the engine?

"Ladies and Gentlemen, we're having a slight problem with the oil lines, so you might experience some light turbulence and then explode."
"We're gonna explode?! I don't wanna explode!"

What we have here, is a failure to communicate.

The best answer is steel braided hose lines. Fabricate one with the correct length and fittings for the Hellcat; then start taking orders on eBay from concerned Hellcat owners. Recall will only replace OEM with OEM ... supposedly better fittings but still rubber hose.
