Hi there
Hope someone might be able to help, I have just got a 08 Challenger SRT8 and I cant get the Push Button start to work? When I put it in place of the key hole it comes up on the information center "damaged key - replace"?????
Does the Push Button starter need to be programed by Dodge, has it lost its programing????
Thanks
challengertalk.com? No idea but it sounds like a dealer problem. Maybe there is a thread about it over at the Chally Forum. Good luck man.

I read once on challengertalk that if you have two key fobs and continuously use only one of them, the computer eventually will no longer recognize the unused fob. Unfortunately, I don't recall what the fix is.
Moral of the story: Use both key fobs, switching every couple of days.

SRT guys last night said that was false. The fobs are independent of each other.
