center console cover install

Is there a trick to it? Or do you just remove the old plastic and tuck this one in.

no tricks.

remove all the hardware from under the cover.
remove the ruberized stock cover.
glue down the foam if you bought that too.
trip the foam
attach the cover
reinstall the hardware

And here is one more tip for you. They sent me a pretty good size piece of foam. I cut 2 pieces to fit nicely on top of the lid, so it was 2 layers of foam thick. I then cut a piece of foam the width of the lid and about 2-3 inches long and spayed glue on each long side. I then folded it in half and attached each glued edge to one layer of large foam, creating a perfect end cap. It is rounded on one side and flat on the other. It fills it in much nicer and gives it a factory look.

This is an excellent mod but I haven't seen anyone on here do this with a vehicle that has the backseat VES. The padding and cover can't cover the whole center console door because of the flip up rear screen. Can it be done? I'm no expert in something like this.

Thanks
Xian

Did you guys by the covers from 22elite?

If so, how dark is the leather? I know they sell a dark slate color, but I need to know how well that matches the R&T black seats.

Thanks,
Drew

I used the directions from 22 Elite and was able to do it with no problems.

Just take your time with it.

Lonestar,
What color is your interior? Does the leather match well? I have the black R&T interior and the darkest I saw on 22elite's site was dark slate.
