I wouldn't trust the cut-and-welded-back-together spindle's strength ... I'd think that if the part was taller, it should be beefier all around ...

I really don't see why somebody would do this (on purpose) to their car, but then again, there's people out there cutting material off bolts and nuts just to fit big wheels and tires without thinking of how safe their car is now ... crazy if you ask me ...

Not only would this be dangerous, 26's on a charger is just plain wrong, IMO. I'll be guy laughing at the person who turns there Charger in to a donk.

I like it. If thats your thing do it. It comes down this to me. The bigger the wheels just the more haters and nay sayers. This is not only true for chargers but for all vehicles. Take a 4x4 truck put a 10" to 13" lift on it with 37 inch tires and 24 inch wheels and you are still going have someone say WTF, that dude is a F***king idiot. Do your own thang. Myself I don't see me putting 26's on but I thought the same thing about 24's which I will be on this summer.

but there is a lift kit they have out that comes with extended spindles, spacer kit, front tubular control arms, ball joints, and rear camber kit.

Just way til I pull up in this year.
