I scoured the forums, listened to audio clips, asked a buddy of a buddy for his opinion, flipped a coin, thought about other brands and the prices and finally just decided to pull the trigger on this one.
Well, I finally got mine installed from the previous group buy and wanted to say they rock!
The sound is awesome. Nice throaty rumble at startup, the kind that turns heads. No annoying drone at highway speeds. Has a low thub-thub at idle and with a little pedal pressure you can make it sing while you wait for the light. You can compare it to the autostick in a way, if you want to play with things a bit, even in city driving, you can get that muscle car rumble. Otherwise, just drive it like normal and it lets people know there's some HP lurking, but without being annoying.
Random quotes:
Brother, driver of an SRT-10, "Very nice, that's what it should have sounded like from the factory."
Dad, driver of another SRT-10, "Almost as good as the trucks, but then again, we have two liters, two cylinders and 80 HP on ya."
Random dude in parking lot, "Great sounding exhaust. Magnaflow, 2 inch?" "Thanks, just had it done. Zoomers, out of California, 3 inch."
Mom, "It's not as bad as your brother or your father, but I heard your car turning into the subdivision." (they live about 1/2 mile in from the main road)
Guy in traffic, "That thing definitely has a HEMI."
So, IMHO, the exhaust sounds awesome, looks great and was totally worth it. I owe pics of the system installed on the car, to show off the how much smaller it is than the stock one. And to show off the great tips. I was on the fence about the inner perforated pipe, but on the car it helps the tips stand out. And there's almost no carbon build up on the outside like the stock exhaust.
For those that were wondering about install, I'm a whole continent away from Zoomers, so I had a local muffler shop install mine. The guy had never seen one of these, but he had worked on Magnaflows and other systems and said this one was a snap to install. Got everything done in about an hour and a half. And because he squeezed me in without an appointment and stayed a past closing on the holiday weekend, I think a $100 for the install was reasonable. That and the fact that due to the 5" clearance on the car, it's definitely not a DIY project in my book.
I have no idea what kind of HP or MPG gains this will get me, but that wasn't why I picked Zoomers. So, if you're in the Metro Detroit area and want help making up your mind on an exhaust, give a holler and you can hear it for yourself.
Youtube video at the track. Not my best time, but you get an idea of the WOT sound.

X2! Zoomers is the best exhaust system on the market.
