patience, i replaced that light with a super white LED light, getting it back in was a pain, you can hold one side of the fixture, and screw one screw at a time back in while holding the fixture. i had to force mine a little
I have a 2008 Charger, and if it is the same as previous year models, it is a PAIN....you will require patience.
In my opinion, this is really a bad design, and they should come up with something different for this!

I have an 06 and recently replaced mine with an LED. Hopefully it will last long enough so I dont have to open it back up again. I had no problem getting it back in after I ordered new screws. The old ones stripped on the heads because it was screwed in so darn tight. It sucked because the new screws were torx heads rather than phillips. In any case...its done and over with and LED's usually last a long time.
