FM Signal Booster?

I know there is a built in booster in the rear but will this help improve fm quality even more?

http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/P...ntenna+booster

I get decent FM reception but I always get a little static. I do have tinted windows but it is ceramic film not metallic. So there should not be any interference there.

Any advice would be great.

I know I am bringing up a very old post...but has anyone had luck improving the FM reception in our cars? I have the REC radio with NAV, VES dvd system installed as well, and I get very crappy reception on pretty much all stations....

Thoughts??? Advice???

I gave up trying to get better FM reception after I installed a Nav Kenwood system a couple years ago. Would love to get little better FM reception when traveling.

Maybe shield the cable that leads from the antenna? Might be some electrical interference, i get perfect reception i could almost swear it was hd when i first bought it. satellite radio's volume is reduced idk why but its as clear as the radio.

nothing new for the dodges made in our time frame (06-10ish models). my srt jeep had the same thing. i almost stopped using the radio altogether after a point. i know some stations are inheriently stronger than other but damn. even the best stations out there as far as strength were weak at best sometimes. i had switched to a metal antenna as per the suggestion of many forum members and it made a slight difference for the better but not much.

where is the ground point for our antennas? i hope its not under the headliner.
