Ever LOSE to an LS-1 F-body?

Since its a fun topic, and a hot one, I thought this would be a fun poll....

Your identity won't be revealed and these were "all at the track".... of course!!

I think we can pretty much assume the answers are the same for LS2 GTOs too??

My Fbody losses:

1. Hit the rev limiter before the reflash. I won the rematch.
2. Fell asleep at the light(s) once. ONCE. Duh!
3. Supercharged SS kicked my butt. 12.0s @ 120mph. Ouch!

GTO losses:
1. Full tank and a passenger (at the track?) to about 50mph.


I've seen absolutely dismal showings by GTOs at the track. SO hard to launch.

I have never lost, but I think I have gotten lucky. Once my roommate and I race I will have to choose a different answer though. He has a WS6 making 440 rwhp all motor and 540 on the juice

Well keep in mind the human race is barely evolved past barbarianism.....we just have better engineers and toys.

Heres my ss story:

Driving home after work all of a sudden someone is on my tail real close I wait for him to pass but doesnt so i punch it to pull away he does the same. I pull over at a gas station and he follows I start talking to the dood. He asks me if id like to run it with him at the local track i agree we go out there. Ran it twice, 1st gear keeps up 2nd gear we are still close once I hit 3700-4200rpm i start pulling away. Next race same result. Only mods he told me he had was catback/cai/ls1 edit.

Unless you have done mods to include a programmer, or have a SRT, You can't beat a LT1,LS1,and LS2.
