My worries are that any electrical motor-type setup would/could eventually fail, leading to expensive repairs (due to the mechanism being so hard to get to). I also wonder about space issues with the swinging "garage door" type setup like in the original charger. I just don't know. I think the swinging cover would look incredibly cool but it just worries me. Not to mention driving prices up on an already potentially pricey mod-based on GRIP's fascia prices.
Lets see some pictures already!! (j/k, I know this is months away )
...come to think of it, the hideaway lights would look REALLY cool. But my concerns remain. Here is a clip for those who don't know what the hell we're talking about:
Here is the new squared off version of the lower spoiler, I also widened the flat yellow band around the grille. Looks like were are about there, boys and girls, I don't think I can do better than this...Also, here is a possible side view, I dew love old Chargers!!
Looks great mo!
The only thing I am not too sure about is the lower spoiler... I still prefer the wider one.. here is one wide and squared off...

Thanks for that clip! It's been like 20 years, but now I remember... the lids go up, not down, I think there is plenty room for that. They go up by an electric (form headlights) operated vacume switch, and the manifold vaccum pulls them up via a vacume solenoid, then a spring pulls them down when switched off. I think I can do it like that.
I feel like this bottom spoiler is almost perfect... it just needs to be a tiny bit shorter...
I really don't like it that big, but you could easily enlarge it, it's merely fiberglass...you know, after looking at it, I just realized that on my render the drivers side spoiler is actually way shorter than the passengers side. It's just hard to see the lines around that fog light. It needs extended to follow the lines of the bumper, I'll do that tomorrow.

If you do decide to go with the hideaway lights, make sure the right and left open and close together. On every clip I've seen of the hideaway lights they don't open at the same time.

Here is what I consider the "final version" until it is checked out in 3D, then I can do some changes depending on how it looks from other angles. I am very soon starting on the moulds for the front fenders, so this project will have to take a back seat for now.

sounds good... make sure smoke adds your fenders to the rendering too!
Hey Mo ... is a person going to have to buy your fenders as well inorder to get the front to fit good...? wasn't sure if you were making it that way...
