Check engine light error code P1607

My car has the check engine light on. I found out by searching that the p1607 means

P1607 Serial Communication Problem With Device 7.

The problem is I have no clue what that means. I just had an alarm installed along with an autostart. Both being DEI Viper 791xv models. This is when this all started. Any help would be useful.

The Charger service manual says:

P1607-PCM INTERNAL SHUTDOWN TIMER RATIONALITY

Possible Causes
  • PCM FUSED IGNITION SWITCH CIRCUIT
  • PCM INTERNAL

The Powertrain Control Module is having issues!

.

I watched the Daytona 500, and I was thinking that if they left earlier they wouldn't have to go so fast.

Seems to me that maybe the auto-start install might have did something to the ignition circuit?

I dunno.. but when I was looking to have a remote starter and or a alarm put in.. I was told to be very careful, because the way the charger is wired..
