Have you done the Brylcreem Mod??

Small poll that I'll leave open so newcomers can contribute as well. I'm a bit surprised at just how many people have done this mod! I thought a "head-count" would be neat to see just how many people have actually done this.

P.S. Its the only mod that I didnt have to go through a congressional inquiry to get approval for the funds.

Just out of curiosity, why are you guys waiting to do the mod, waiting?

Hey Nate - I've put off the mod for a few reasons:

-The Charger's only a month old - I have a hard time ripping the muff out already.

-The stock exhaust seems to be settling into more of a rumble as time goes by - reduces my need for a sound upgrade.

-Winter's coming, so I'm in no rush for a performance upgrade (however small it may be on it's own).

Been told by two muffler shops and one dealership that this will void part of my warranty.

Apparently according to all three, there is some new bulletin out from crysler that applies to altering the factory 300c and Charger exhaust systems. I can't get any definitive answer from Crysler.

Sounds like they're tryin to overstate something very basic. To the best of my understanding, modifying your exhaust will only void any warranty regarding your exhaust components specifically. They can't void your powertrain warranty because you changed or removed a muffler.
