Re: LX and SRT M&G - Columbus, OH - July 29th 2006

I will be ther but should this post be a part of a new thread? It might get Ohio Chargers attention more so than being a part of this thread.

Thx!

I need to double-check that nothing is going on that day, but you can tentatively count me in. I work right on the other side of I-71 from that restaurant. Are they open at 10am? I've only been there once for lunch.

Re: LX M&G - Columbus, OH - July 29th 2006

WARNING: The I-71N to Polaris exit is scheduled to close for construction in "mid-July" for three weeks. It will likely be closed when this meet happens.

When it closes, the new ramp at Gemini Place (the very next exit to the north...it's probably only 1/4 mile north of the Polaris exit) will open. People will need to exit at Gemini, turn left (west) to cross I-71, and then turn left (south) at the first street, which is Lyra Place. From there they can just travel past the Polaris Mall (which will be on the right), then cross over Polaris and the Quaker Steak will be on the left.

Re: LX M&G - Columbus, OH - July 29th 2006

Actually, it's even worse. The I-71S to Polaris exit no longer exists. People coming south will need to exit at Gemini, turn right and then left at the first street (Lyra), and then travel down over Polaris to find the Quaker Steak on the left.

Re: LX M&G - Columbus, OH - July 29th 2006

Here's a map of the final layout of the I-71/Polaris/Gemini exchange, with Quaker Steak plopped in. Ramp 2 will likely be closed on July 29; Ramp 6 and Ramp 7 will probably be the way to get there from I-71.
