At less than 50k my 07 Daytona needs the third set.

MoPar's factory 240 compound is good for maybe 25k miles.

I am thinking I will try one of these three for a mileage warranty and take advantage of Discount Tire's free rotation service.

Needed for Michelins mileage promise every 6-8 thousand miles.

The Pilot "which comes stock on Ferrari" is a 300 compound and a 30k mileage warranty

The MXV4's 60k treadlife tire
is rated at 620,too hard. IMO

I think the car would suffer for it
and the K&W coil-overs would be useless.

I am going with the MXM4
it's rated at 500,twice the stock's 240.

If they are not sticky enough
I will switch to the pilots.

I don't street race,
just good at missing people
playing bumper cars at legal 80mph Texas speed limits.

I'm sure i'll be doing the same thing you are doing. I don't ever plan on hitting the track so i'll be looking for some tires once these get low to as well.

I had them installed today.
Seems real nice on the twisty roads going home.
Figure twice the mileage and life.

Dont forget to save $10. and keep your old tires

& take it in to your DT store.

Well,the 500 rating on traction is just too hard.

Cornering and braking is not as good.

The Michelin Pilot Super Sports will be in Tuesday.

I went with General AS03s. I don't race / track the car every day, and never go beyond 8/10s on the road, so I look for a good balance of longevity, good ride and low noise.

They're a little noisier when it's cold out, but balance that off with just a touch of decent snow traction. I was able to keep up with a couple of tuned SRT-4s and a WRX during a couple of "spirited" cruises this summer with nearly zero effort, and the car (and the tires) felt nowhere near the limit.

Got 14k kms on them now, and they barely show any wear. But compared to a summer tire like the Pilots, they're rolly-polly nonsense lol.

San Antonio has mild winters.

The wife and daughter could tell the difference right off.

I would love to have 55k tires

But in the event I should need every bit of control and handling
that a street tire can allow,I will opt for it
over treadwear
every time.
