Alright so i was heading home this evening and my headlights turned off and back on a couple times within a 15 second window, this happened after about 2 miles of driving and once the dash lights also went out. i pulled over and turned them off and on manually a couple of times and it flickered once more and then went back to normal...could it be a faulty switch? or a ground somewhere? any ideas!!?

Well i did some tinkering and the culprit is actually the switch in the dash, had to get one ordered from my local dodge dealer 50$ part very easy to swap out but must be common because i cant get one for at least a week.

Hmm.. Does it have a sloppy/mushy feel turning the lights on/off vs a defined click? Reason why I ask is Dodge issued a recall for Grand Caravan/T&C minivans for a headlight switch failure. Just Google it for details. If they are the same switch you might argue for a warranty replacement with your dealer. It's a long shot, but worth pursuing for $50.

Just as a update i finally got my headlight switch today, my car has fog lights and doesnt have auto headlights, the switch i received didnt have a seperate button for the fog lights, and on the plug in there were 6 prongs instead of five like mine had. I put the switch in and everything seems to be just fine even with the different style.

there are lots of write ups on here that will help... from memory there is one screw under the dash then remove the kick plate for the door and the trim piece between the door and the dash there is a screw there and i think it pretty well pops out from there...
