So I've had my srt8 for about 3 months and I love everything about it but, I have a couple questions about the kicker sub. 1) how hard does everyone else's sub hit? Mine doesn't seem like it hits very hard at all. I'm not expecting ridiculous bass, but it seems like my previous rt had more bass with the stock speakers. Even with it turned all the way to the back of the car it's not much. Is that just the way it is? 2) while the car is off no key in the ignition or anything I can hear the sub in the just thump by itself periodically. It's not very loud but its definitely noticeable. Does anyone else have this too? I haven't had subs before so this is kinda new to me. Any insight would be awesome. Thanks
Do you fade to the rear on the head unit, if not, fade about 3-4 to the rear, it helps....

It's quality bass in these cars, enough to have all audio frequencies mix in together, good sound quality and good umph... Thats why I put in extra subs in just for that extra *pull up to a loud bumping car and blast their music to heck* heh

Sometimes the polarity is reversed in this system, try swapping the positive and negative wires on the sub. Also, the audio system (Radio) comes on whenever the car is unlocked, door opened, just about anything you do so the speakers will pop. My 300 did it and it was annoying.
Thanks for the input everyone. I'll have to try swapping those wires, because it seems like the bass is nonexistent. Glad to know that the heartbeat is normal and not a wiring problem. I was starting wonder because I've had issues with the heated seats as well.
