Dropped a valve seat do I need to replace both heads?

My 5.7 2006 Hemi overheated and a few weeks later dropped a valve seat on the right side. Can I just replace the one cylinder head and go or is there a good chance that the other head is now a ticking time bomb?

Hate to spend more than I have to, but don't want to have to waste another weekend redoing the job either.

I would do both as cheap insurance,just me though. Heck since you gotta pull the heads les put a cam in it and top it off with performance heads

I'm going to look at my first Charger today.
I had heard that valve seats were a problem in the 5.7L.

How common is this?
All years?
Any pre-emtive measures?

It seems to be more common in the 06 models. There are some belief that a colder thermostat and turning off mds will help prevent but it is not a guarantee. You definitely dont want to let your engine overheat.

I personally dont turn my car off when doing quick stops since it seems to happen after pumping gas.
