Not sure this is the right forum, but I have to give a shout-out to owners in general. I have owned dodge/chrysler since 2000 and have enjoyed it. But something extra has happened since getting our 2012 SXT Rallye back in September. More than once has another Charger/300/Challenger owner pulled up along side and given the nod. Recently, a new level of owner pride has become evident. A week ago I was driving home from work, about a 35 mile commute, and I came up on a well-appointed PT Cruiser in red. "Cruising" along side by side, we caught up with another and just about the same time a Challenger pulled up. Challenger in 1, the Cruisers in 2 and 3 , and me in 4. We drove in Finger Four for about 10 minutes until the freeway split and we went our separate ways, exchanging nods and smiles. I was cracking up but it looked pretty cool escorting the PT's. Tonight another Chally came up along side and matched speed with me for about 10 miles. Thumbs up and then exited. I honestly have never experienced or witnessed this before. I never see other owners team cruising on the road at rush hour. I think it's great! The comraderie on the road and the help folks are here is something cool. Keep it up!

Yes I've seen that happened to me also. I had that happened when on the highway and a Ram 1500 start pacing you for a distance, maybe its the Hemi in our vehicles that has the special bond.

I was sitting at a light , when a 2011+ ram cummins rolled up on me and usually I have my radio blasting. But I didn't and I could here the passenger tell the driver (hey dude it's a srt8 next to us) I chuckled to myself and looked over and he gave a nod and then we split at the light.
I love that feeling of membership or whatever you want to call it. My fellow G8 owners are the same way. Its a little different with that because A not many people know about the G8 and B. if you do own one you know how rare they are and understand the general type of person that would own one. Its like a motor cycle thing with the little hand wave. I see one G8 about once a month. whenever I see one there is some sort of gesture and /or burn out exchanged. Its pretty awesome.
When I get my Charger R/T this weekend I will have to pay attention to the whole Mopar thing. There are not allot of new Gen chargers around me. prob due to living in a snow belt region.
Owning a Mopar is something special, I believe it is just a extension of you as a person & the bond is formed with the car you drive. I love my M11 more & more everyday.
It's nice, regardless of your engine I always end up chatting it up with a fellow Charger or even Challenger owner. Even the SRT guys chat it up with me regardless I got a wee 3.5L

I tried to get my GF to buy a G8 even tho it was a six , still one of the coolest 4door cars I've seen, and rare to see no matter what trim. She's getting a Malibooooo!!!
