Took my 5.0 to a buddy of mine Friday(owns a detail company) and had the car stripped, paint corrected, polish, wax, everything. Picked the car up this morning, topped off gas and parked it in the garage and did a oil change, jacked the car up and put it on jack stands.
Now, race car parts over the winter

Just put a set of Boss 302 rims with Pirelli Winter SottoZeros on my Mustang so that I can drive it on nice days this winter. While I had the car up in the air, I threw on a set of Borla S-Type Axlebacks. That is how a Mustang should sound!
I also put a set of snows on the Charger to drive on the not so nice days.

okay guys, So, when I introduced myself on the Forum, I did say that I was knew to the Charger and Forum, and I might ask stupid questions so try and bare with me..so here goes stupid question 1..I have seen alot of post about people putting their cars up for the winter....Why? you just don't drive them in the winter or am I missing something? My daily vehicle is a tahoe, and the charger is kept covered and parked in the garage, unless it's a special outing or the weekend, but should I not drive it in the winter or is this just a personal preference?
My charger I DD for 100,000+ miles, blizzards, hurricane even a tornado. I was 16-21 and had no real means or any other car(other then parents when a VERY low charger was un-usable).
Now I bought the 5.0 at 21 and with a better job backing me and I also picked up a 95 4 door civic, it's nothing great but it's clean, lowered, tinted on stock steelies and yea, stock exhaust and gets 40+ MPG's. I DD the Honda and same as you pull the 5.0 out when it's nice out. I vowed I wouldn't rack miles up on my mustang so it sits most of the time but I do take it to school sometimes, or just when my girlfriend and I want to just go for a nice night ride. My reason is 100% preference for parking the mustang this winter....plus modding the car while it's clean, dry, in the air and has the wheels off makes it more appealing to come home at night and do a hour or work here, hour there.
