Bolt pattern

Here's my first posting here:

I've got the 2011 Charger SE model with the standard 17" wheels. Everywhere I look online such as Discount tire or tirerack and other websites they say that the rims for my car have a 5 x 115 bolt patter, but I've been told the SE model is a 5 x 114.3 pattern. Who's right? This is the big issue holding me back from deciding what new rims to go with. Please help. and Thank you.

5 x 115 is what you need. The 114.3 will fit...sort of and some claim they work but I wouldn't do it. Dodge Charger bolt pattern is 5x115 and nothing else. You don't want the wheels coming off at 70mph.

Thanks, any reason then why on ebay looking at the challenger replica wheels that are 5 x 115 they say they don't fit the 2011 charger se?

Probably because the company hasn't tested the wheels for the newer Chargers yet. A company will not list a product for a vehicle they have not tested the product on due to liability reasons. This happens all the time in the aftermarket. The owners know it will fit but the manufacturer won't list the application because they haven't done the testing to ensure it will not be a safety issue. It's just the manufacurers covering their ass.

Also agree with that statement. I've seen this too.

Everything that I've seen points toward: 5 x 115mm or 4.5" bolt pattern.

I've noticed that some of the fitment guides that Amazon uses when looking up parts doesn't work most of the time. The E-bay fitment chart that; sellers use works a bit better in most aspects.

I had a similar problem back when I got my first car ( Pontiac Grand AM 86)... Someone gave me 2 tires from a Toyota Camry: they fit on the car but, didn't sit right.
