Re: TINT WINDOWS ... How long before I can roll them down?
Heat helps them cure faster.
I'd go at least 3 days...5 would be better.
My wife rolled down my freshly tinted windows once........just once.

Re: TINT WINDOWS ... How long before I can roll them down?
Heat does make a difference, it'll quickly the evaporation of the liquid used to install the tint. If possible keep them closed for 5 days. In reality 3 days is fine I had no problems in any of my vehicles and they were all does in the winter.

Re: TINT WINDOWS ... How long before I can roll them down?
I remember when I had my truck, I had to roll them down about 15 minutes after I left the shop because there was a cop next to me ... and nothing happened to the tint. I think 3 or 5 days is way too long, but of course 15 min. is way too soon. Maybe 24 hours is good.

Re: TINT WINDOWS ... How long before I can roll them down?
Depends. I had my windows removed and tinted. I dont know the exact procedure, but I have never spotted an imperfection and was able to roll the windows down immediatly.
Re: TINT WINDOWS ... How long before I can roll them down?
I've had several different cars done at a very good shop in Chattanooga over the years. They have always said 48 hours, hot or cold, and I've never had a problem. It does get very hot here by the way.
