Catch-can vomit

So I was checking this thing regularly, but I haven't in a couple months. There's no telling when this started. I opened my catch can today, and was immediately greeted with a frappe mocha. The top half was this creamy mess, and the bottom looked like watered-down oil. This is close to 10k miles worth.

Uh oh! That looks suspiciously like water (coolant) in the oil.

Have you checked the dipstick? Look for a foamy residue on the top of the oil level.

Some of the old timers here say that this is normal winter behavior. My oil is new as of 2 weeks ago (full synthetic).

Nasty looking, good thing for the catch can or the crap would be in your intake. Looks like winter moisture.

Looks like it erupted. Was it like this when you opened the hood or did it just spill when removing the catch can ? A buddy of mine saw the pic & thinks the same as the other member's...moisture (water) in the oil.

I wasn't expecting it to be full like that, so as soon as I opened it, the crap flew everywhere. It wasn't leaking before hand.
