There isn't anybody that owns a Charger and likes drag racing? Or any modern day Hemi for that matter?

Gotta Grand Cherokee? A 300? A Ram? A friggin Commander?

The new Holden GTO. Let's call it like it is. The GTO is an Australian Hilden with plastic glue on's. The Camaro is a Holden. The G* is a holden.

Is there a REAL Chevy/Pontiac/Buick/Cadilac/..........out there????

Yes I do realize there is a lot of Mercedes in the LX cars.

Ok. So let's call it like it is. We have the Holden Monaro(GTO), the Holden Commodore(G8), and the Camaro....Which is just a Camaro, there are no Holden counterparts. The only thing that is Holden is the platform, which was designed in Australia and used in GM's global market. And your point is what? Showing everybody how bitter you are?

So what would consider REAL? The badge on the car? The style designed by somebody in Detroit? The LX platform is a Mercedes platform. Does that mean that the Charger isn't a real Dodge? I mean really, what was the point of your post?

Edit: Oh, you're a bitter noob. I understand.

04m6gto,

The point is that GM tries to hide the fact that they are using other platforms to make their cars.

Ford uses Volvo, Mazda, and Nissan. Chrysler uses (used) Mitsu, and Mercedes (used to).

The difference they don't try to hide it from the public in their ads.

Even Toyota rebadges GM's full size tru

Hide it? What? Yeah, because Dodge's new slogan is "Hemi power on a Mercedes chassis".

Eh, whatever. I'm trying to recruit some Mopar guys for a great day of racing. I don't want to get into a stupid brand war.
