Has anyone tried these mufflers out? the couple videos i've found seem to sound way better than the flowmasters or the magnaflows. I'm surprised i dont see people talking about these or are they just a smaller company that not as many people have heard of?
Irrespective of which exhaust system you go with - ensure they have decent customer support...can get pretty frustrating if things go south with no one to help....
I was going to buy the same muffler pro street 6000 but didn't. A lot of 4 gen gtos run them and some f body camaros. There good mufflers I'm going to buy them for my next car.
I recently had these installed on my 2015 R/T. I am very happy so far. Very nice rumble at idle, roar at WOT and virtually no drone while cruising at all speeds, even with MDS.
Here is a video I found on youtube. Only difference is I did not delete the resonators.
That is the video that got me interested in them in the first place. Do you happen to have the model/part number of the ones you installed? Their website isn't very clear on which ones fit our cars.
I had the pro streets 6000 series on my 6.4L and did not like them. The videos on youtube made it sound like something it wasent..Not a good muscle sound more of a bee stuck in a chamber..I wouldnt recommend them to anyone.
Everyone has their own opinion. I have these on my 2015 5.7L and I think they sound great. Exactly what I was looking for. Not obnoxiously loud like every other mustang I encounter on the road. Just a nice rumble while idling and under light acceleration, but really opens up at full throttle. Virtually no drone while cruising.
Maybe you should have went with the 9000's. Spintech does say on their website that the 9000's are their most aggressive sounding muffler. Next time you should pick the muffler which will give you the closest results to what you are looking for instead of blaming the product itself.
