I didn't see any of this info posted yet so hopefully this isn't old news to you guys but Hahn racecraft is developing a twin turbo set up for the 5.7L. I talked to one of the guys today and he was saying that the kit will hopefully be ready and available by the end of the summer. According to there website they are using 2 super 15g turbo's with the options of upgrading to bigger ones, the kit is suppose to contain a fuel managment system, intercooler, and a complete oiling system and of course installation hardware. So for those of you looking for big power like I am there will be another option out there for us soon as long as this kit works. hopfully this is news to you guys and if not I will delete the thread asap.
Always good to know there are more options around the corner for these cars. As for the deadline they proposed, Id say the end of the year is more of a safe bet. One thing Ive learned about these cars is that the projected release date of a product for the LX platform ALWAYS gets pushed back. I have yet to see any items come out on time for these cars, hahahaha. Sad, but true.
Anyways, keep us posted on more information that you find out as it comes along. Im sure folks will certainly be interested! Numbers are always good too (price and power increase).....
I think the deadlines getting pushed back relate to all cars that have new parts coming out lol, I think the developers do it on purpose just to get our juices going.....it's kind of like for play I guess :lol3005:
I'll definaltey keep everyone posted as to dates and numbers, I hope we see some good stuff from this.
I helped someone locally to install a Hahn "stage 3" kit in their normally aspirated Saturn Sky 2.4L. A couple of weeks ago he took it to Englishtown and ran a 12.5 (on street tires). I was pretty surprised. Until you really get on it, it sounds like it's stock and is pretty mild mannered.
I had a Hahn Racecraft stage 2 turbo on my 95 Neon. For 4k, the results were AMAZING! And I ran moderate boost. Most days, I was running 9psi respectively. A few times at the track, we would boost at 11 or 12 just to get numbers, but even at 9psi, the car was pretty impressive. And the quality of their parts is top notch as well. If this pans out, I'm all over it. I wonder if Modern Performance will carry it. OH CRAP!! I'm getting all giddy. Must calm down. Must calm down.
