I wouldn't worry about driving an R/T in the snow. I've had mine on a foot of snow and ice, as I had to go to Nebraska for a funeral a month or two ago. I drove sensibly and had zero traction issues even in unplowed parking lots.
I really don't understand why people are so scared of rear wheel drive cars when it snows. I fear front wheel drive cars in the snow, because they allow people who have no business driving in the snow to get their cars moving.
