Until today, I've been a GM guy Trans Ams, and a Chevy Cobalt ss). The SS got too small in hurry with our second kiddo so I've been looking for a "family" car that I actually would like, want, etc. Found a pretty sharp 2013 Charger RT for a decent price and as of about 6pm central time (Olathe, KS) tonight, it's mine. Will try to post a pic or two in the coming days but figured I'd go ahead and introduce myself tonight.
Hey welcome to the forums... Proud 2013 Charger owner from Murphy, Texas. Had a 2002 (around that time) Trans Am Ram Air. Loved it, traded it in for family mobile after getting married.
Welcome to the club! Glad to have you here and congrats on your Charger. May it provide unlimited fun and unhampered travel across all terrains for as long as you two are together. Enjoy the time behind its wheel!
Thanks for the welcomes, fellas! Extremely happy with the choice I made after my first full day of owning her. Keep finding things I didn't know existed that elate me. Suddenly, I wish my commute was a little longer . It's a little extra special because my dad has always been a big Mopar guy (and he's had some really cool ones). My parents divorced when I was a whee little tyke and my mom, brother, basically everyone else were GM people. This car has been a conduit for more discussion with my pop! We have already talked about hitting a show or two next summer. Again, happy to be here and eager to learn more about these cars.
Pic, as promised (same as avatar, just easier to see)
Looks good man, I'm sure I'll see you around town. A couple of friends and I hit a car show just about every weekend as well as some of the late night races around town.
