Hello, new to the forum and have an issue that I need help with. A few days ago, the TPMS system went into fault mode. At start up, the light flashes for 75 seconds, then goes solid. Looking at the display, 3 tires show pressures, the other, the Right Front, shows -. Ok, sounds like a bad in wheel sensor. Just to further verify my suspicion, I move the right front tire to the right rear and put the right rear on the right front. I drove the car out on the interstate for 30 minutes or so at 70 MPH in order to force a re-learn of the sensor positions. I expected to see the position with the - to move to the right rear location. Nope, still showing a - on the right front. Would this seem to point to the receiver being the problem? Anyone have a similar experience? I did spend some time searching but didn't find anything.....Thanks in advance for the help.

If a TPMS system fault is detected, a chime will sound, and the TPM indicator lamp will flash for 75 seconds, then remain on solid. The TPM Module is a RF receiver that is located in the right rear wheel well behind the splash shield, and is mounted to the wheel house inner flange with a bracket.
Plug a OBD2/CAN scanner into the car OBD2 port and see if any DTCs have been logged.

Bump

Just wanted to bump this back into the group. I still have the problem. Haven't been to the stealership yet, would rather figure it out on my own. I did see someone having a similar issue with a 2014 that appears to be a wheel sensor causing the issue. I posted the following on that post:

Interesting, too is that we just had a screw in the right rear and the system did not detect the fact that the right rear tire was flat! That got me looking deeper, and it appears that none of the tire pressures are reporting correctly. I have adjusted all tires to 30, driven on the interstate for around 100 miles, but none of the other 3 positions that are showing something have changed at all. They all seem to be stuck showing 36, 36 and 35.

Think possibly one in wheel transmitter may be causing all of these issues?

Also of note, when I select phone on the touchscreen, it is stuck in the connecting or whatever the message is. I've read many threads about that problem, too. Maybe related?

I am going to look for the receiver and see if the connection is good, wiring looks good, etc. Any other ideas are appreciated.

Thanks!!
