Depends on the year: 2000-2012 use HOAT (Mopar 5 yr/100,000 or Motorcraft Pemium Gold/ or Zerex G-05)

2013 started using OAT (Mopar 10 yr/150,000 mile) which is RED and looks a lot like the older orange/red HOAT.

2014 uses the OAT, but they made it PURPLE to avoid confusion with the older red colors.

HOAT and OAT are not compatible unless you want to make pink slime.....

Yep, you have to know the chemistry, choosing by color doesn't work anymore.

I've stopped several people over the years from putting Dex Cool in their Mopars because they told the auto clerk they needed "orange". I had one clerk tell me all anti freeze was the same...........yikes!

QuantumBlue HP Gold exceeds IAT, OAT and HOAT

Confusion continues with Mopar changing the colors again as noted by Krautmaster.

The great thing is that QuantumBlue HP Gold Coolant exceeds the IAT, OAT and HOAT specs and is good for 5 years or 150,000 miles. Here is a write-up I did a while back. Addresses all the things you want to know, and I do know the chemistry!:bigthumb:
