Hey guys,
So in November of 2013 I replaced (on my 2008 3.5L charger) my front tension struts with Mevotech aftermarket brand (has zerk grease fittings too). I also replaced tie rods, and sway bar bushings. The tension struts were the culprit as when I replaced them the problem went away, until now. I drove about 20,000 miles on the car since then and the same noise is back. I checked everything underneath to see if everything is tight and it seems so. I know that you can't tell if the tension struts are loose if the suspension is hanging, so I'll have to drive up ramps or jack it up by the ball joint and see, but I suspect the Mevotech tension strut went bad. Could it be that they already need to be re-greased and/or re-torqued?
