Saw these online and they seem to be ok they have the correct size piping and they come with a K&N filter also.

It sway cheaper than the Typhoon K&N set-up and i am wanting to get a CAI but i dont any any way shape or form spend over 200 bucks (i dont reall wanna spend over 100 to be honest).

I have the 3.5L HO V^ and it seems as if this would work ok, whats your guys opinion? anyone have this kinda set up?

Not to sure about this one its looks a bit shady - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car...adiZ2865QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item360060035658&

So what do you think, i'm on a budget and will probably never spend money on a CAI but for this price i can justify it......?

How well do these work without having the heat shield.........it seems like having that shield and boxed in area where the good cooler air can come up from the bottom would be WAY better than a CAI set up like this one that has no shield to repel the head from the engine and box in the cooler air.

Not to sure if this is the way to go and would make any more difference than my stock set up with K&N stock replacement air filter.

What do you guys think???

As in go with the CAI that has a good K&N filter and not worry about the more expensive ones with heat shield?

Love mine-
AFE with heat shield.
I run an intake without a shield on my saturn (got it second hand for free) It is noticibly suffering on hotter days pulling from under the hood... worse performance than I had with stock setup when it is over 100.
