What color wire do I use to hardwire a radar detector on 2008 charger
Need some help . Have a 2008 charger and I wont to hardwire my radar detector. I dont want to door the passenger side a pillar or rear view mirror hookup . I need to know which color wire I can use from drivers side kick panel . There is a large group of wires and I bought a hardwire kit with mute button and inline fuse . Hope someone can help .
I do have to ask why not the mirror option. Done right, it means you dont have to make any change at all, when you remove it, it's like it was never there, no cutting, no splicing. I've run my detector that way for over two years.

Its because I have a vinyl 6 inch strip across my windshield and I have a mute button . There is not a way to mount the mute button under the dash if I tie into the mirror. And most dont realize the vinyl and windshield wipers both distort the radars ability to pick up radar. It states it should be mounted unobstructed on windshield and not on dash where wipers block it . I want to mount it on the drivers a pillar just under the vinyl strip .Its more convenient to tie into that kick panel if possible. Thanks
