Mod the lights in the switches, hvac, head unit, and cup holders.

I was wondering if anyone has modified the lights for their interior switches, cup holder, etc. I would like to mod the color to red.

any options / suggestions would be appreciated.

I have had other car parts apart before to replace the lights, this involved desoldering and resoldering the light in. It was a lot of work. I assume the Chargers would be the same.

As said, you have to desolder and solder in LEDs and resistors, a ton or trouble and time unless you have a serious show car

Not sure which forum it is, but I was talking to a guy that is in the process of doing it and he said it is very difficult. Harder than he expected. His NAV unit is completely out now as well. You need to take it easy and do it slow. And from what I hear some resistors are tiny.

I have a red SRT and swapped all my interior lights with red LED`s. I`m not electrical genius, but it wasn`t that bad. Time consuming...yes. Just be sure to get the polarities right (see thread on replacing LED`s), and be sure not to damage anything when de-soldering old lights, and you should be okay.
