That's barely an inch of snow! What do you need ground-clearance for?
AWD is definitely better in that, though!
Yeah, I guess ground clearance wasn't and issue lol. I'm house sitting for a friend and their house is down a tiny private road in the woods, then at the end there's a 150 degree turn that also has about a 45 degree incline. Once at the top of their hill their driveway is a big circular one that's ALL downhill, and if you go too far you fall into the bay
I was worried about taking that turn in the charger and not being able to get any momentum to get up that hill because of the sharp turn (and hill itself) being iced over. The times I've house sit before I've spun there just hardly accelerating in the rain much less snow and ice.
Here's a shot I took this morning, HDR mode on the Note II is CRAZY. It's on 'high HDR' mode (there's a few different presets).
This is towards the top of that hill next to their garage, it's downhill both ways from here!
Here's another shot I took a few months back from the start of the driveway (further downhill )
This morning I picked up the charger so the GF could take the CRV to work (my work's right down the road). It snowed a fresh 2in or so while I was working, so needless to say I had a blast drifting home
HDR is an effect that looks really good on a small screen...but not so much on a large screen.
On my monitor it looks like a waaaay over-sharpened image. It just seems to cast an odd white halo around every object in the image.
