2012~2013 SRT have projector fog lights which use a different bulb. You dont need HID fog if you have a new gen SRT.

For the regular Chargers,

Your OEM bulb should look like this:


Your HID fog light bulb should look like this:


The clip lock should be the same for it to fit in directly.

From the info I have gathered it seems 2011+ Charger will require relay harness for the fog light HID to function. So I am not 100% sure on this. On my 08 all I need is a pair of CanBus Error Eliminators.

I suggest the following source for your HID:
1. DDM Tuning:

2. The Retrofit Source:
http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...ducts_id=20832

IMO TRS kit is way better in quality. Although the are certainly more expensive.


If you dont wanna deal with HID wiring complications, here is another route: Super high wattage LED bulb:

27 Watt Osram LED bulb in 5202. They will be a direct swap to your fog light. These will be better than OEM, but dimmer than HID.

Thanks for the response.. I don't have the SRT projector fogs. I have the SXT halogen fogs.
That is exactly what my fog light looks like you are correct.

Can anyone confirm if i need a relay harness for the fog lights on a 2013 SXT.

That's a good selection of LED foglights for the newer Chargers. Looks like the Osram is the brightest.
the OEM fogs aren't all that bright so these have to be better! Has anyone else tried the LED version?

I have 22watt ones on my 08 for turn signal/DRL. They are super bright. These 27watt ones will probably be ~1800lumen per bulb.

I know it's an older thread but figured I'd ask.

I am almost considering those LED fogs xlm, I didn't know they were actually brighter than the stock bulbs, that's great. I just don't like the price tag, but them again it will save quite a bit of hassle of wiring and ballasts and such.

Leds look good and are bright to the eyes but no where near the output that you can get from HIDs.
I have 5000k Hid kits in my low beams and fogs.

I can for sure tell you that a relay harness is not needed at all!

What you need are error code eliminators/warning cancellers. One on each side.they go between the ballast and the oem plug. So much easier to install and for sure works. I have them running in front of all 4 of my ballast lows and fogs. . . And zero issues.
