'13 R/T questions

New here with questions. Just picked up '13 R/T. I've seen on other posts talking about road and track package. Does anyone know if that was offered and how to tell? What is sport mode for, seems to change shifting pattern? One last one, launch control?

If the newer R/T's are anything like the 06-10 models, then check the R/T badges on your car. It goes by color. If the R/T badges are silver, it doesn't have the road and track pack. However, if the R/T badges are red then it does.

Yeah on the 11+ cars the easiest way to tell is by looking at the badging and the grille. If you have an all black grill and the red R/T heritage badges on the grill and the trunk you have the road and track package. The seats in the road and track are different too..they're the highly bolstered type seat that's in the SRTs.

Where about are you in Michigan?

Launch control is unlocked after 500 miles, I haven't had a chance to play with it yet though. And Sport mode seems to make the transmission hold gears just a tad longer and shifts more aggressively.

Thats what I've read as well but read that launch control is only on SRT, which makes since. But it was included in info supplied with the car. I guess we shall find out about the launch control. I have noticed about the shifting in sport mode though.
