My father in law uses the column mount holster and uses it for long roadtrips, absolutely swears by it, easy access but out of the way. But thats in an SUV, I dont know how out of the way it would be in a sedan.

Thanks for all the responses...I ended up going with the Blackhawk Serpa CQC holster. Really liked the paddle design, and the holster lock. Plus it seemed to have a number of adjustments. I still plan on picking up an IWB holster, have not figured out which one yet though.

Have also started to try and figure out where to mount an in-car holster. Seems like the Chargers center console in my 06 has a perfect mounting position.

Little bolts and washers holding it to the carpet and when removed you can't see the holes in the carpet because they are so small ill go take a few more pics here in a few

By the way these bolts do not scratch or hurt the finish on my glock and its in and out of the holster everyday also if you want to leave the gun in the car just slide the seat up and it's hid from sight unless someone is just starring in looking for something

Concealed Carry holster

For IWB, I've been very happy with the Comp-Tac Infidel for cooler months, and the Minotaur for summer. It's been mentioned but worth emphasizing, a proper belt is needed for a holster (IWB or OWB) to function reliably.
