Car & Driver tested the ZR1 versus the Viper on a track and the Corvette smoked the Viper by 2 seconds

The Viper was a tenth faster to 100. The ZR1 was a full second faster to 150

But when it came time to hit the road course the ZR1 walked away

If the govt was still calculating the unemployment rate using the same criteria, the “official” rate today would be closer to 18%. In 2004, median income man in his 30s - $35,010. Adj. for inflation, 12 percent less than 1974.

Ostriches

You guys can ignore facts and bury your heads in the sand if you want

Chrysler basically came out with a new Viper that can't beat the outgoing Vetter

And yeah, the Viper's tested price was HIGHER than the ZR1 also

So what? Chevy STILL has nothing to compete with a SRT Charger, what's your point?

Also, in a sea of Vettes, I'd still rather have a Viper

The new ss might be a direct competitor. Especially if its offered with the LS3.
Still will pale in curb appeal.

As I recall didnt the vipers dominate la mans and corvette was always behind. The only time they really won was when vipers pulled out. Now with the return of the viper and back to la mans backed by ma mopar I bet you chevy peeps are getting scared lol. Id take a srt over any other car. Yes the new 5.0s are imressive and yea our cars could use a diet but hey the handleing is great and for a while tye mustangs were still a solid axle only if you jumped to the super snake did you get an independent rear suspenion like what we already have.
