Manny is past his prime just like I said. He lost that speed and agility. When he got knocked down early in the fight I knew it was a bad sign. If only he waited that 5 seconds before the round was over it could of been a different outcome.

I truly thought this was all hype and gonna be the same fight again, I was dead wrong! I thought it might be over in the 3rd round with the overhand right from Marquez, and then I thought Marquez might not make it out of the 5th. That knock out was one of the best I have seen! I really thought he might be severely hurt or dead. Ive never benn a Pacquiao fan, but Im glad he was okay.
Personally, I think he should retire, but If I am either one of those guys I would go for a fifth fight. Think about the money they could make fighting on Mexican Independence Day. It would definately set both of them up for retirement.
That fight just changed the whole fight game for a lot of people! No offense, but my favorite headline was "Filipinos are silent". Its about time! Lol
Retire? Yes, he's slowed down, but he's still better than most. I do think he needs to either focus on being a politician, or a boxer, and not both though.
I agree...i think he should retire also or else he will end up like roy jones jr. Both have similiar accomplishments and both relied on that speed and punching power. When you age you lose those abilities. Now roy jones gets knocked out every fight now.
Manny has got too much going on besides boxing. Ever since the margarito fight he hasnt been the same.
