That's where I tripped with it too, I couldn't even figure out how to open a browser or another tab on the browser. Or how to shut it down.

Is there a how-to tutorial with this version?

Sounds like a very intuitive OS!!!! Go, Microsloth!

These are the reasons I loved Netscape and Linux... MS is evil.

I have to agree! The new Windows 8 apparently can't even open a separate window.

All our desktops at the office are on Windows 7. My two lap tops I carry with me are Vista and XP. 8 makes Vista look good!

I loved XP and refuse to get rid of it. Works best in my mind. I set up the network at the office and ordered the computers.

Windows 8 is not intuitive at all. Confusing and worthless if you don't have a touch screen!

Hopefully this massive failure will force MS to think about operating systems that are designed for each application separately (PC with keyboard and mouse, tablet, handheld, etc.) instead of this "one size fits none" garbage.

I liked XP and Windows 7 has some features that I like but many that I don't. I wish they'd just create an OS I can configure the way I want it using the best ofrom each of the past versions.

I really don't want to buy the "Today's Special"...just let me order a la carte dammit!

My problem is that the lines between "personal" and "corporate" are blurred. My home PC has to be fully compatible with my work PC and interchangeable in every sense.

Besides, I like Photoshop and don't need to learn a new OS for image manipulation.

I just want the freedom to use the features I like and not be force-fed new ones I don't want just to get improved options for the ones I do.

If Linux was really up to everything, they would offer the ability to pick and choose from the capabilities of all manufacturers OS and let me integrate them my way...but alas, they don't.
