Im shocked by the hiring of D'Antoni over PJax. However, Dr. Jerry Buss wanted a more up tempo style of game like the Showtime days. Although D'Antoni doesn't stress defense, Dwight Howard will make sure to change that. Let's go Lake Show....Run n Gun...Showtime is back!

Don't think it was Pjax wanting too much. Kupchak said money wasn't an issue, and they were looking to cater to his limitations. I think the Lakers just took into consideration that long term he would probably not be the greatest choice. I mean he would do great for the 2yrs. But after that who knows what coaches would be available.

Like most, I'm not buying what the Lakers are trying to sell us. They CHOSE D'Antoni over Jackson? Yeah, I HIGHLY doubt it. There's gotta be more to the story than that. There is just absolutely no way you do that if Jackson is saying yes, he will be the coach.
