I chose the Charger because it's looks and performance. I'm a fan of muscle cars (minus Mustangs), and I like that the higher end models (R/T and SRT8) are automatic since I'm not too comfortable with stick just yet.

i wanted a new car - bigger then my audi a3. so i had two choices
- audi a4 (3.0 tdi)
- chrysler 300c touring

the first knock-out came for the a4. it is a nice car, very nice interieur,
but... in germany you see a a4 on every corner. the young 20 year old
girl (birthdaypresent from the parents), die family-guy and the old ones.
everyone drives a a4... and.. it is a nice car. but its also a bit.. to "normal".

the 300c .... also very nice car. love the touring. but...
- 3.0 diesel (with srt interieur) > nice interieur, boring engine
- 5.7 hemi -> nice engine, boring interieur
- 6.1 hemi -> nice engine, nice interieur - but to expensive

so .. one day.. i found the charger - also part of the lx-series.
i love the old 68 charger.. so... why not ? the aggressiv look
is just fabulous.

the test drive was... i cant say it in words. what a engine, the
interieur... perfekt. but - you cant buy one in germany - you have
to import one... but thats another story

and.. bye the way... the price: car + import + tax + importeur + tüv + autogas < audi a4 from 2008

I'm young wanted something 4 doors and quick. Almost got an Impala SS, but its not really my style. I always loved chargers from dukes of hazard to fast n furious. I always looked at it as a car you could personalize with personality.

I started with a v6 charger with no hemi. Bout to get my 3rd real soon. My ultimate goal is to own a new model SRT to keep forever.

Hey man! I think so!!
That's my opinion !
I live in Spain and I wanted to have a li'l different car. Since I've driven several american cars (Mustang, Challenger, Camaro) I love the american cars so I decided to get a Charger.

And I got autogas too !!

The only hard point is to get some parts (rims and so on). Too expensive.

-- My mods list --
Finished: debaged, LPG conv., NoESP Mod, CAI, strut tower brace, hood shocks, honeycomb + black bumper grille, side mirrors LED turn signal, convex mirrors, 08-10 light switch, Intune 91+, antitheft tracker, rubber mats, seat belt covers, 2 DIN headunit, parking camera, 18" alloy rims, T-shape shifter knob, aluminium Park Lock Out mech.
In progress: all-LED sequential taillights, paddle shift, painted 09 taillights, remote start, interior ambient light, demold, .75 cent int. mod, police sway bars, folding side mirrors, tailpipe.

Why did YOU choose the Dodge Charger?

A friend had a gorgeous black 09 AWD RT, and would drive past my house fairly often. With tints and being debadged, it was quite the stealth vehicle. Then I rented a few chargers, and was impressed. Rented some Mustangs and Camaros also, but with 2 kids, two-door cars didn't seem very practical. Plus, the Charger has a style that is, IMHO, unique.
My friend decided to sell his, as he was retiring and also has a black 09 AWD Magnum, so I took the plunge. Had it for about a year now, but have been working out of state and so haven't put many miles on it.
At an age when most guys I know are "beyond" being impressed with such things (or at least won't admit to it), I smile every time I even look at my ride; and I love getting into it and turning the key! And then there's actually driving it…!!!
Very few Chargers where I live - plenty of German iron - and I take no small pleasure in turning heads. When I mention to someone that asks about the car that it's AWD, the response is always "Really??" or "No way!!"
Way.

I'm a tech geek and a gear head. I wanted all the gadgets (large touch screen, ACC, heated/cooled seats, back-up camera, remote start) and I wanted aggressive styling.
I seriously considered the both the SRT 300 and SRT Charger, but couldn't justify the insurance increase. I was also considering the Hemi 300, but the charger just looks so bad ass that I decided it was the way to go.
No regrets!! Now I just have to decide which mods to do first. I'm so pissed that a mild cam voids the warranty.
