I've been hearing a lot of different things about the 2009-2010 Charger R/Ts versus the 2011+. I know that they added a little more weight on the 2011s and advertised only a two horsepower increase, but I also heard they did some tuning to help broaden the power band.

I guess what I'm getting at is which one is faster... '09-10 or 2011+?

When we (2009-2010) had tuners and they (2011+) didn't.... we were.

Now that they have potentially more tuning options available... probably them.

Stock for stock? Drivers race, slight edge to the 2009-2010...

So it basically comes down to tuning and the driver? I was a little concerned that Dodge just fattened the 2011 up without giving it some additional muscle. Interestingly, I did see one 2010 pull 14.0 at about 99 MPH. When Motor Trend tested the standard 2011 R/T, they got 13.9 at about 104 MPH. That's pretty close though. Of course, we all know that MT sucks at testing cars. They complained about the tranny, but never let it adapt. Had they waited for the tranny to adapt, they probably would've been hard into the mid 13s. I wonder what it would've done with the tranny TSB?

The 09-10 and 11+ would definately be a drivers race for the most part on a stock car. I guess we will see next year when more people can use there tunes on the track. I might have to get one myslef and really throw down time. I would still like to crack the 13.3's stock though. I am oh so close!

Well, looking at your trap speed, it's definitely doable!
