So why was the Chrysler voting thread locked?

The conversation looked civil, it was in the off-topic section. Is there some kind of explanation or are we not allowed to talk politics on this Charger forum?

Because there was a discussion of who voted for who, why and political policy. The next time you have a question about a locked thread send a pm. Political and religious discussion is off limits. Yes everyone was being great but we have the policy for a reason.

Some forums allow them anyway; this one does not.
