You can do a search and find multiple threads on the subject. This is a topic that has been debated since the beginning of time!
Anyway, when I had my R/T I put an AFE Stage II on it. Sounded good and I was happy with it. It definitely gave the car a good growl before and after I removed the stock resonators. As far as power, I never had it on the dyno, so I can't speak on that. I decided to keep the stock box in my SRT.
I have never heard anyone say they were disappointed with the Mopar CAI. What are your concerns or hopes with the CAI? I think they advertise the same gains as your K&N and Airraid CAI's
I don't think I would trade it for another brand. I would only take it off it you wanted to put the stock box back on. There are some that argue that the stock box was engineered specifically for the car and already pulls cold air from the fender. Others stand by CAI's and there performance values.
Either way without a tune, I believe you will not get the max benefit from it. I'm sure others will chime in with their two cents.

I have the Mopar CAI on my SRT and I like it. I definitely noticed a difference once I installed it. I think if you already have it then keep it. Don't fix what isn't broke if you know what I mean....
I like that it looks factory and it seals against the hood pretty well.
