My engine light is on and the code pops up on the Predator as "P0198" And I looked it up and it says "Oil Temp Sensor High", But my car is not running hot, it is perfectly fine or so I think. Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Circuit High
Trouble Code Conditions:Ignition is on; battery voltage is more than 10.4v. The engine oil temperature Sensor circuit voltage at the PCM is higher than the calibrated amount. 3 good trips required to turn off MIL.
Engine oil temp signal circuit is open or is shorted to battery voltage
Engine oil temp Sensor ground circuit is open
Engine oil temp Sensor has failed
PCM has failed
