NAPA synthetic oil...any good?

i have a question..nearby my house there is a NAPA Auto that is running a promotion for 39.99 to flush my engine of regular conv. oil and switch it to synthetic oil. for 39.99 its their own Napa Synthetic Oil (the guy said its not a blend its regular like the others) and for 59.99 they use Mobil 1. i know that Mobil 1 is very good and people here on CF speak very highly of it. my question is does it matter which one i go for?? is Napa going to kill my car? i find it a good deal cuz my neighbor wanted to flush the engine for 50 plus i have to buy everything..so this seems more worth it..

thanks

Chrysler requires API certified. Is that oil certified?

What do they mean "flush"? Want to run synthetic, doesn't require flushing or anything else.

Did you know that - Thread

I am sure it is fine, ask for the API rating compare to the manual and make sure it meets the requirements or. Just buy the oil and filter and a drain pan, get a six pack save a few bucks and do it yourself.

Make sure the RP 5w20 is API rated, I've never seen a bottle carrying the rating, nor have I been able to confirm it on their web site.

Just saw you have a bee, just make sure the appropriate oil for your engine carry's the API rating. Some of the RP oil does.

I know nothing about oil, so can you let me know if you were being sarcastic about amsoil or is it any good? I have a local shop that will do an amsoil change for $55.

I would def. go with amsoil. I work at an auto parts store so ive read all the stuides about the different oils. Even tho royal purple and mobil 1 state they are full synthetic they are not 100 percent. The amsoil is. Its the best stuff.
