EDIT #1: I have gone back and corrected the mis-wiring of the a-pillar harness pins. Posts below that refer
to incorrect wiring refer to the wiring before this edit.
EDIT #2: I have added instructions for the rest of the installation.
1 - remove the a-pillar revealing the connector
Get a finger under the top outside edge of the a-pillar cover and pull towards the drivers seat. It will pop out a little (about an inch or so).
Here's the back of the a-pillar cover. The red arrow is where it attaches at the top; the yellow arrow is where it attaches in the middle.
When you're trying to pull it out, first squeeze the tabs on the black plastic bracket holding the top attach point in place. The bracket will come out of its hole and remain on the top connector. Then pull gently until the middle tab comes out of its hole, too. The a-pillar cover then lifts out.
Here's the connector revealed after the a-pillar cover is removed.
2 - Remove the cover just above the pedals (under the dash on the driver's side). It's held in place by 2 small round push-in fasteners. Feed the wires from the harness up from under the dash to the a-pillar. I slid a piece of insulated wire down from the a-pillar, attached the harness wires, then pulled them back up.
The red arrow is where the a-pillar is (looking up from under the dash by the pedals). The big round thing is the speaker in the dash board.
3 - Harness wires are now ready to be installed in the existing connector.
4 - Harness wires installed in the connector - CORRECTED
5 - Remove the glove compartment. The red arrow shows where you push to remove the string on the right. I used a small screwdriver to push it from the inside, then you slide the plastic piece down and out to remove it.
There are two tabs that hold the glove box "inside" its opening. Squeeze the tabs into the glove box at the same time, then pull the box so it rotates farther open.

There are 2 hinges that you need to pop the box off. Note: you don't unscrew anything, they just pop off.

6 - Pull the rest of the harness behind the radio to the glove compartment. Again, I used that insulated piece of wire, taped the harness to it, and pulled it through.
7 - Remove the radio trim piece. It's just held in by clips and it pops out with gentle pressure, starting from the top along the sides. Don't pull it all the way out, though. There are 3 cables holding it in place.
8 - Here's the back of the radio trim. Red arrows indicate the clips holding it in place; yellow arrows indicate the 3 electrical connectors.
9 - Here's the radio with the trim removed. The 4 red arrows indicate the 4 Phillips screws that hold the radio in place. Remove the 4 screws.
10 - Here's the back of the radio. The red arrow indicates the factory cable still attached. Carefully unplug it.
11 - Feed the 2 connectors from the end of the Jet harness into the space behind where the radio goes. The connector in the middle of the harness stays in the glove compartment to connect to the telematics module.
12 - Plug the Jet harness into the radio where the factory cable was (yellow arrow), then plug the factory harness (red arrow) into the jack on the Jet harness (yellow arrow).
13 - Reinstall the radio. (Whew! It still works.)
14 - Attach the 3 cables to the trim piece and re-install the trim.
15 - Now tie down the cables under the dash (driver's side) to prevent getting caught be moving parts. It's awfully cramped down there. Large people need not apply.....
Tie the cables away from the shiny silver tubes: they carry coolant from the radiator for the heater.
16 - Tidy up the cable still in the glove compartment. There's probably lots more than you need, so tie it up carefully.
Here's the mirror harness
Close-up of mirror harness connectors:
Red goes to mirror, yellow goes to telematics module, blue is unused at this time (hopefully used for rain-sensor)
17 - Connect the telematics module to the cable in the glove compartment. (A portion of the module's connector does not get filled. I don't know what would go there.) As soon as I did this, the passenger's map light turned on; I don't know if this is normal or not but the light still works normally.
18 - There are 2 mounting holes on the right wall inside the dash where the glove box was. There are corresponding holes in the telematics module.
Mount the module with the cable pointing towards the front of the car. Note: the holes are not threaded/tapped so I assume you're supposed to use push-in fasteners. I didn't have any that small so I used cable ties. You'll probably want to have a small assortment of fasteners on hand to make the
installation easy and secure.
19 - Test before continuing. Temporarily plug the mirror harness into the a-pillar connector and the mirror (2 connectors).
Back of mirror - 2 connectors.
Turn the ignition to ON (ACC doesn't seem to work for this). Try pairing a Bluetooth phone to the system. If it doesn't work, you might want to troubleshoot before continuing.
20 - Reinstall the glove box. First attach to the bottom hinges, then partially close the box until the tabs pop back into place. Don't forget to re-attach the string thingy on the right.
21 - Route the mirror harness up through the headliner and over to the a-pillar. There are a number of push fasteners on the cable; I assume they're measured to fit into existing holes up above the headliner. I'm lazy so I just tucked the cable up under the front of the headliner and didn't secure it. If I ever get my car to the dealer for the rattle in the sunroof and they drop the headliner I'll ask them to secure the cable properly.
22 - Tuck the mirror harness into the clips in the a-pillar.
23 - Re-attach the a-pillar cover. First remove the black plastic clip from the top connector and put it back in its hole in the a-pillar. Slide the tabs from the cover into the bottom holes, then line up the middle and top attachment points. Push the middle, then the top. The whole thing pops right into place.
24 - Enjoy a sammich and a beer.
